Description
Algo 8212 IP Dual Button is a standalone IP endpoint that can be deployed wherever a network connection is available, providing independent device management, direct SIP registration, and device-level monitoring. The two buttons can be independently configured to initiate separate actions, often deployed as an operational call and an emergency alert. If either button is configured as a panic button, the Algo Device Management Platform (ADMP) can provide centralized visibility into device status, connectivity, and operational readiness.
Algo 8212 IP Dual Button Key Features
- PoE powered
- Two configurable buttons
- Multi-color illuminated buttons
- Selectable faceplate labels
- Optional protective covers
- SIP-compliant, multicast-capable, with API support
- ADMP compatibility
Confirm Status with Multi-Color Illumination
Configurable multi-color illumination and flash patterns show that the buttons are operational and confirm when a press has been detected. Visual feedback helps users identify the button state and understand when a communication or alert workflow has been initiated.
For each button state, configure the illumination using any combination of the following:
- Brightness: Off, Low, Medium, or High
- Color: Blue, Red, Green, or Amber
- Pattern:
- Steady: Remains continuously illuminated.
- Slow Flash: Flashes at a slow, consistent rate.
- Fast Flash: Flashes at a rapid, consistent rate.
- Double Flash: Flashes in repeating groups of two.
These settings can be combined to create distinct visual feedback for different button states. For example, a button can display steady green at low brightness when ready, then change to fast-flashing red at high brightness when pressed.
Identify and Protect the Button
The 8212 features two independently configurable buttons that can initiate separate actions, making it suitable for everyday alerts and emergency response workflows. Selectable faceplate labels support clear identification by location, workflow, language, or response type, while optional protective covers help prevent unintentional button presses.
