InformaCast Compatible IP Speakers

InformaCast compatible IP speakers provide the most efficient and flexible solution for overhead paging. Unlike traditional analog paging systems, IP speakers register directly with InformaCast and deliver crystal-clear audio with minimal network load.

Direct Registration with InformaCast

IP speakers register directly with the InformaCast platform. Each speaker appears as an individual recipient, giving you maximum flexibility.

Flexible Zone Creation

Zones can be created on a per-speaker basis or dynamically filtered by IP address or subnet. This allows precise control of paging areas.

Minimal Network Load

IP speakers use the same multicast audio stream as IP phones and the InformaCast Desktop Notifier (IDN). Only a single 80 kbps G.711-ulaw audio stream is transmitted, no matter how many speakers are active. This ensures efficient bandwidth use across your network.
