Description
The Algo 8301 SIP Paging Adapter & Scheduler connects modern VoIP systems to traditional analog amplifiers and PA systems. It delivers exceptional audio clarity, flexible scheduling, and simple network management — all powered by PoE (IEEE 802.3af) for a clean and efficient setup.
Seamless IP-to-Analog Integration
The 8301 emulates a page port, providing a direct line output to any analog amplifier. It works as a SIP extension or multicast endpoint, making it an easy way to enable legacy PA systems for IP paging, loud ringing, and emergency notifications.
The Wideband G.722 HD voice codec ensures crystal-clear announcements and high intelligibility. Its isolated and balanced line output eliminates hum and noise, ensuring professional-grade audio.

Flexible Connectivity and Compatibility
The 8301 supports amplifiers with input impedance between 600 Ohm and 10 kOhm. Connection options include XLR or terminal block outputs, and an optional dry contact closure can activate the amplifier when required.
You don’t need an ATA or FXS port — the 8301 replaces outdated analog interfaces, simplifying your setup while reducing hardware costs.
Scalable Multicast Paging
The Algo 8301 can send and receive multicast streams to multiple IP endpoints — including IP speakers, paging adapters, and visual alerters. This allows a single adapter to cover entire buildings or campuses with synchronized announcements.
Support for Polycom Group Page, Singlewire InformaCast, and Syn-Apps Revolution ensures maximum system compatibility.
Multicast Zone Paging
Configure up to 50 paging zones directly from one adapter. Zones can be triggered using DTMF key selection or individual SIP extensions. This flexibility makes it ideal for schools, factories, and large offices requiring zone-based paging control.
Built-In Bell Scheduler

The integrated scheduler automates tones, bells, and announcements using synchronized NTP time. Perfect for:
-
School bells and daily announcements
-
Retail store closing alerts
-
Factory shift changes
Upload custom WAV or MP3 files to 1GB of local storage. The scheduler runs independently — no PC or software needed.
Emergency Notification System
With up to 10 Emergency Alert extensions, the 8301 can broadcast pre-recorded alerts such as lockdown, evacuation, or all-clear messages. Activation can occur via phone call or a connected Algo 1202 / 1203 button.
Alerts can play continuously until canceled or for a pre-set duration. Combine this feature with multicast for site-wide alerting in seconds.
Music and Auxiliary Inputs
A 3.5mm AUX input allows streaming of background music to connected amplifiers and multicast groups. Music automatically pauses during announcements or scheduled events, resuming afterward. The optional Algo 1205 Audio Interface simplifies microphone or music input control.
